Job Description and Qualifications

PURPOSE
Overseeing day-to-day financial activities of the Company through managing cash flows of the Company to meet the committed cash outflows requirements and the excess cash is utilized for Authorized Investments under CTA to earn the best returns for the Company.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.Coordinating with JIGPC’s onshore and offshore banks to manage its cashflows in the best and most efficient manner.
2.Coordinating with Facilities Agent to ensure the timely payments of lenders’ payments such as, commitment fee, upfront fee, interest/profit and principal repayments.
3.Coordinating with shareholders’ representatives to ensure periodic payouts are processed and credited to shareholders’ account i.e., dividend, interest on shareholders’ loan and repayment of shareholders’ loan.
4.Coordinating with working capital providers to manage the cashflow requirements of the Company in an efficient manner to reduce the interest expense.
5.Preparing the cash utilization forecasts and recommending (i) interbank bank transfers between onshore to offshore bank accounts (ii) recommending quantum & tenure of time deposits (Authorized Investments), and ensuring compliance with CTA and JIPGC’s policies & procedures.
6.Ensuring that the ‘Authorized Banking Signatories’ are up to date with JIGPC’s banks and coordinating with banks to make required changes, as required.
7.Initiating payments at online baking platforms of the Company and creating B2B payment batches in SAP and communicating with signatories for approval of transactions on respective platforms.
8.Monitoring the banking transactions on regular basis and reviewing/signing off the monthly bank reconciliations prepared by general accounting team.
9.Generating relevant reports and statements for internal/external use.
10.Assists with the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing process and reviews/audits.
11.Participating in cross functional training to learn account payables, account receivable, cash journal, reporting processes and providing back-up role in the case of team member absences.
12.Participating in the growth of finance team by training, coaching, and cross functional role swaps.
13.Any other work assigned by the Director Finance/CFO.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
1.Bachelor’s degree majoring in Finance & Accounting with 3+ years of work experience.
2.Hands-on experience in Manufacturing as Accounting Specialist in a large manufacturing company or equivalent.
3.Candidate must also have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to speak fluent Arabic and English.
4.A solid working knowledge of computer programs such as Windows, Word, Excel, etc. is required.
5.Flexible, can work with minimum supervision and can handle pressure.
