ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ADMINISTRATOR (Permanent) Our client, an established manufacturing company in Buffalo, NY, is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Administrator to join their growing ;

Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and clerical functions
Perform daily processes for accounts payable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations ensuring accuracy
Prepare financial and statistical reports
Update financial records in accounting software including, but not limited to, invoices, customer credits, expense reports, and receipts
Prepare checks for payment to suppliers and track payments
Generate invoices and mail out in a timely manner
Maintain database of outstanding bills
Accept all cash/checks and maintain accurate records of receipt
Review financial reports for accuracy, reconcile errors, and report to upper management
Run credit reports on potential customers
Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, answering the phone, responding to emails,
Generate weekly/monthly progress reports and post appropriately
Complete special projects as necessary
Other duties as assigned/as necessary

Details:

Position is full time, direct hire
Role is 100% in-office

High School diploma required
Knowledge of general accounting principles
2+ years relevant experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent accounting and math skills
Strong attention to detail
Work well under deadlines
Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong organization skills and time management skills
Self-motivated
Relocation not available
