An established multi-disciplined firm is looking to add a Structural Project Engineer to their Seattle team! This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule to split time between the office and working from home.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for all aspects of design for structural systems for a wide range of building types
Work as part of a collaborative design team as well with other disciplines
Prepare engineering drawings/calculations
Prepare detailed engineering reports/construction documents
Construction administration duties
Write/review specifications
Review shop drawings/RFIs/submittals
Conduct site visits as needed

Responsibilities:

Bachelor s degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural/Structural Engineering plus 4+ years of structural engineering experience
Master s degree plus 2+ years of structural engineering experience preferred
Experience is design of concrete, masonry, steel, wood materials, gravity and lateral systems
PE/SE preferred
Working knowledge of structural software (ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM, ADAPT, RISA, Enercalc)
Knowledge of commercial building materials, systems and assemblies
Experience with sustainable building design preferred
BIM (Autodesk Revit workflow) experience preferred
