Key Account Manager - Public Sector

Merck seeks a Public Key Account Manager based in Riyadh to develop and execute strategies for priority public-sector healthcare accounts. The role focuses on strengthening institutional partnerships, driving sustainable business growth, and expanding patient access to medicines and vaccines while maintaining compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute account strategies for public-sector institutions aligned with commercial growth priorities
- Map stakeholders and build long-term partnerships with hospital leadership, procurement committees, and decision-makers
- Manage NUPCO tender participation and institutional purchasing opportunities with cross-functional coordination
- Deliver sales targets and identify growth opportunities to expand account performance and patient access
- Monitor market dynamics and competitor activities, reporting insights to leadership
Requirements
- Saudi National nationality (priority)
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or medicine
- Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical industry experience in Saudi Arabia
- Previous key account management role experience (highly preferred)
- Fluent Arabic and English communication skills
- Knowledge of Saudi healthcare system and NUPCO tender processes
