Sales Manager - Building Materials | Saudi Arabia

Leverage your abilities and join the dynamic team of a leading company specializing in the one of the biggest distributors of premium Italian and European finishing materials, including porcelain, marble, natural stone, mosaics, parquet, and related products.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales team, managing the project sales pipeline, developing key client relationships, and driving revenue growth across the Saudi market. The role requires strong experience in B2B project sales within finishing or building materials, as well as an established network within the Riyadh construction and design community.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead and manage the sales team and ensure achievement of sales targets.
- Own and manage the complete project sales pipeline, from lead generation through order, delivery, and collection.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with developers, main contractors, architects, interior designers, and design firms.
- Identify and develop new project opportunities across the Riyadh market.
- Drive product specification by ensuring VADA brands are included in BOQs, project specifications, and technical submittals.
- Present and promote premium finishing materials to clients and project stakeholders.
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline progress, conversion rates, and collection status.
- Set individual and team sales targets and ensure consistent follow-up and achievement.
- Prepare and submit weekly sales and pipeline reports to the COO.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within approved margins and company guidelines.
- Coordinate closely with estimation, logistics, and other internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, project opportunities, and customer requirements within the Saudi finishing and construction materials market.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- 7+ years of experience in B2B project sales within the finishing materials, building materials, or related construction sector.
- Strong and proven experience in the Saudi Arabian market, preferably within Riyadh.
- At least 2 years of experience managing or leading a sales team.
- Established network and relationships with developers, contractors, architects, interior designers, and design firms in Riyadh.
- Experience selling premium finishing or building materials such as porcelain, marble, natural stone, mosaics, parquet, or similar products is highly preferred.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills with the ability to manage pricing and margins.
- Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, and business development skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and sales activities while meeting deadlines and targets.
- Valid Saudi driving licence.
