Lead Manufacturing Planner

Job Description Summary

Functional management responsible for leading and directing all active association with customer project management. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.
• Develop specialized knowledge in their discipline.
• Serve as a best practice/quality resource.
• Maintain awareness of latest technical developments in own area.
• Contribute toward strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
• Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs.
• Optimize inventory and process improvements.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of Gas Turbine and Accessory Modules Assembly.
• Use prior experience in similar product/processes and acquired technical expertise to execute production strategy.
• Use some level of judgment and have ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance.
• Use prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks.
• Have access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.
• May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
• Have in-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• Possess proven interpersonal skills or be an early people leader who can hire and develop talent.
• Provide informal guidance to new team members.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Manufacturing & Materials Planning and Execution function at a leadership level.
• Proficiency in using Planning and Project Management Software tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for complex and big data analysis.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams to achieve business goals.
• Legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction.

Desired Characteristics

• Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends and make informed decisions.
• Knowledge of inventory – Raw / WIP or DIO for monitoring, control and reporting.
• Experience using ERP Systems (SAP).
• Advanced ability to read and interpret Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOMs).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
• Established project management skills.
