Job Summary
Responsible for performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities for automotive air conditioning systems used in Dry Port / Port operations. Ensure proper functioning of vehicle AC systems and support preventive maintenance activities to minimize operational downtime. Maintain quality and safety standards during all maintenance and repair activities
Roles and Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair automotive air conditioning systems
- Perform installation and maintenance of AC components including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and refrigerant systems
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities for vehicle AC systems
- Inspect AC systems and identify faults or performance issues
- Recharge refrigerants and ensure proper AC system performance
- Read and interpret technical manuals and service documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintenance standards
- Maintain service reports, maintenance records, and repair documentation
- Coordinate with maintenance teams and supervisors for operational support
- Respond to breakdown maintenance and emergency repair activities when required
Mandatory Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Auto AC Technician
- Experience in vehicle AC maintenance and repair activities mandatory
- Experience in Dry Port / Port / Industrial environment preferred
- Knowledge of automotive AC systems and refrigerant handling
- Basic communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to work overtime and rotational shifts if required
