Manager, Commercial Development (Coffee)

Our client, a leading FMCG and beverage company in Saudi Arabia, is looking for an experienced Manager, Commercial Development (Coffee) to join its commercial team in Jeddah.

The role is responsible for developing and executing category strategy, driving growth across channels, and translating consumer, shopper, customer, and market insights into strong commercial plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy category strategies aligned with market, shopper, channel, and customer dynamics.
• Facilitate the flow of category insights and information between Sales and Marketing teams.
• Analyze shopper behavior, retail audit data, market share, distribution, and customer sell-out data.
• Translate analysis into clear recommendations and action plans to improve category performance.
• Track category spending and ensure accurate reporting.
• Define the picture of success for priority channels and support implementation across physical and digital stores.
• Drive product availability, visibility, point-of-sale execution, and planogram optimization.
• Lead the commercial planning process and ensure cross-functional alignment across Category, Brand, Channel, Shopper, and Customer priorities.
• Support execution of integrated commercial plans and activation platforms.
• Understand channel dynamics and define the right SKU assortment based on shopper missions and store formats.
• Develop e-commerce category activities in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Build channel solutions and business cases that support future growth opportunities.
• Develop strong category selling stories and support new product launches.
• Provide actionable commercial insights that help customers implement category strategies and initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4–5+ years of commercial experience.
• Previous experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, Shopper Marketing, Category Management, or Marketing.
• Strong understanding of commercial planning, category strategy, and the selling process.
• Experience analyzing retail audits, market share, distribution, sell-out data, and shopper insights.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated record of commercial performance and business growth.
• Experience in beverages, coffee, or FMCG is strongly preferred.
• Good command of English.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with experience in FMCG, beverages, coffee, trade marketing, category development, shopper marketing, e-commerce, or commercial planning will be highly considered.
