Technical Office Leader

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Technical Office Department and its engineering team.

• Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of shop drawings, BOQs, technical submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.

• Ensure effective coordination between consultants, project managers, site teams, and subcontractors.

• Provide technical guidance and solutions throughout all project phases.

• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with contractual requirements, specifications, and quality standards.

• Review cost estimates, quantity take-offs, variation orders, and value engineering proposals.

• Support project planning, risk mitigation, and decision-making processes.

• Drive continuous improvement within technical office operations and engineering workflows

Requirements:

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.

✔ Minimum 7 years of experience in the construction industry.

✔ Minimum 3 years of experience in a Technical Office Manager or similar leadership role.

✔ Strong background in both construction and finishing projects.

✔ Proven experience managing technical office teams within contracting companies.

✔ Extensive knowledge of shop drawings, BOQs, technical submittals, RFIs, and construction documentation.

✔ Experience in residential, commercial, and large-scale projects.

✔ Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.

✔ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and related engineering software.

✔ Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is highly preferred.

✔ Excellent communication skills in English.
