Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer (Saudi National) with a unique multidisciplinary background to join our team in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for overseeing the civil and structural components of major building projects, ensuring that engineering solutions are seamlessly integrated with the architectural design intent. With a minimum of 7 years of experience, you will lead the technical execution of site works, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and sustainability in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering Integration: Lead the coordination between civil engineering requirements and architectural design specifications to ensure aesthetic and structural harmony.
• Site Supervision: Manage large‑scale civil works, including grading, drainage, structural foundations, and external works, ensuring compliance with approved shop drawings.
• Technical Review: Conduct in‑depth reviews of civil design packages, material submittals, and calculations, providing feedback from both a structural and architectural perspective.
• Contractor Oversight: Monitor contractor performance on‑site, ensuring adherence to the project schedule and the Saudi Building Code (SBC) .
• Problem Solving: Act as a senior technical advisor to resolve complex site issues that require a balance of engineering precision and architectural sensitivity.
• Quality & Safety: Enforce rigorous QA/QC procedures and HSE standards to maintain a safe and high‑quality working environment.

Required Qualifications

• Nationality: Must be a Saudi National .
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university, with a proven career transition or dual expertise in Civil Engineering (Professional experience/training in Civil Engineering is required).
• Experience: A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in site engineering, civil works, or construction management on major infrastructure/building projects.
• Professional Membership: Active registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) .
• Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit. Familiarity with structural analysis software is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Language: Native fluency in Arabic and professional proficiency in English (technical writing and verbal communication).
• Multidisciplinary Vision: A rare ability to interpret architectural aesthetics through the lens of civil engineering feasibility.
• Leadership: Strong team management skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers and coordinate diverse site teams.
• Communication: Excellent negotiation skills for managing stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
