What you'll be doing

• Daily collection and delivery of mail from the PO Box and transfer to the office mail room when assigned

• Operate the telephone switchboard to answer, screen, and forward calls, providing information and taking messages

• Provide information about the establishment such as location and working hours of departments/offices, employees, or services

• Greet persons entering the establishment, determine the nature and purpose of their visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations

• Maintain the guest reservation system

• Receive, sort, and route mail, courier items, and deliveries

• Manage the mail room by allocating mail space for each department/company

• Keep track of international calls and faxes to enable the accounts department to debit personnel accordingly

• Be aware of staff location (e.g. out of office, in a meeting, on leave, on business trips, etc.)

• Arrange for public transportation if requested by guests

• Maintain up-to-date telephone lists

• Perform other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating

What you’ll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a similar front desk / receptionist role is a plus

• Good communication skills in Arabic; basic English is enough

• Friendly, well-presented, and professional

• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Organized and able to multitask
