Overview

This position works out of our Al‑Qassim location, Field site.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Manage and drive the development of the territory through promotion of new and existing products, including product presentations and competitor information.
• Carry out sales calls, targeting high sales areas for maximum efficiency.
• Implement the Go‑to‑Market strategy aligned with the regional and global approach for the country’s specific objectives.
• Build, maintain and expand strong partnerships with target accounts via a consultative selling approach to KOLs.
• Appraise current and planned customer needs and advise on application of company products and services to customer requirements.
• Cooperate closely with distributor sales teams to develop and execute effective local sales strategies by customer segment.
• Support distribution partners in the sale of products, including training, sales meetings, technical expertise and marketing support.
• Provide forecasts, business reports and action plans on a timely basis, re-evaluating performance against forecast and budget.
• Accurate and reliable demand planning and forecasting based on customer/distributor commitments.
• Collect and maintain up-to-date market intelligence (competition, prices, tenders) and customer feedback.
• Represent Abbott in a professional manner that aligns with company image, ensuring activities stay in line with legal and ethical standards.

Knowledge / Education Required

• University Degree in Life Sciences, Pharma, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Strong command of English language (written & verbal). Additional languages are advantageous.

Minimum Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in healthcare sales, preferably in the diagnostics/POC field.
• Familiarity with the healthcare industry and private healthcare providers for the given territory.
• Relation with key customers in the field is a plus.

Minimum Skills Required

• Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with CRM systems preferred.
• Ability to multitask and set priorities effectively.
