Position:

Proger is looking for a skilled and experienced Saudi Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its Branch in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia .

About the Role

Reporting to the Design Manager, you will be responsible for setting, implementing and monitoring KPIs to ensure the quality and compliance of all mechanical engineering deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, as part of the PMO team. This is a full-time position mainly based in Riyadh; availability and flexibility to travel are essential.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

·Supporting the review of Mechanical Engineering design drawings, shop drawings, and submittals for conformance with project specifications.

·Participating in the various design reviews, workshops and optimization studies.

·Producing technical documentation, reviewing technical documentation for projects and implementing mechanical engineering design and work plans in accordance with project scope, schedule and budget.

·Providing technical clarifications and inputs for Contractor queries and requests.

·Reviewing and approving Contractor's material proposals and documentation.

·Conducting site inspections and providing periodical reports to confront non-conformances.

·Forecasting trends, anticipating potential problems, and recommending solutions to management.

·Attending preconstruction meetings with contractors and the PCM team prior to the start of each new phase of the work to discuss issues that affect quality.

·Assisting in the coordination of testing and commissioning of Mechanical systems.

·Dealing with local authorities for data collection and approvals, where required.

Key Competencies and Skills

·Over 7 years of experience in engineering design companies, with years of experience in a senior or lead position with direct interface with clients.

·Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an internationally recognized university.

·Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure and buildings mechanical design.

·Excellent knowledge of international and KSA codes and standards.

·Proven proficiency in calculation software like HAP, ELITE or other equivalents.

·Proficiency in English (both verbal and written).

· Saudi national is mandatory.
