Role:

The Galaxea Cluster Manager is a senior site-based leadership role responsible for overseeing the successful planning, mobilisation, opening, and ongoing delivery of Galaxea diving, snorkeling, and marine-based guest experiences across multiple luxury resort locations within The Red Sea and AMAALA destinations.As part of Red Sea Sports & Entertainment, a subsidiary of Red Sea Global dedicated to creating exceptional
destination experiences, the role will ensure that Galaxea operations are delivered to world-class standards through a strong commitment to safety, sustainability, innovation, collaboration, and unforgettable guest
experiences.The Cluster Manager will lead by example, providing operational direction and support to location-based Senior Managers while ensuring each dive center reflects Galaxea’s premium service proposition, responsible marine tourism principles, and the wider Red Sea service style. Strategic and Operational Leadership

• Lead the operational planning, establishment, and ongoing management of Galaxea dive centers across assigned resort locations, ensuring alignment with RSSE’s destination experience standards.
• Work closely with the Operational General Manager and Senior Dive Operations Manager to define operational requirements, service standards, staffing structures, and readiness plans that support premium,
  safe, and memorable guest experiences.
• Provide clear direction, coaching, and performance oversight to Senior Managers responsible for individual dive center operations, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance culture.
• Ensure each location operates consistently in accordance with RSSE, Galaxea, resort, safety, environmental,
  and guest experience standards.
• Maintain flexibility to work across destination sites and attend office-based meetings or reviews as required.
• Support the development and delivery of new dive centers, including operational layouts, guest flow,
  equipment requirements, storage, safety infrastructure, and team facilities.
• Collaborate with relevant RSG, RSSE, resort, sustainability, SEZ, and project delivery teams to ensure operational requirements are embedded during design and delivery phases.
• Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, training plans, standard operating procedures, emergency response protocols, and operational readiness activities to support a seamless launch.
• Ensure compliance with applicable local, national, and international diving, marine, health and safety, and
  environmental regulations.

Dive Center Operations – Post-Opening

• Oversee day-to-day operational standards across all assigned dive centers through effective leadership of
  site-based Senior Managers.
• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop Senior Managers, supervisors, instructors, captains, technicians, and
  support teams to deliver safe, professional, and world-class guest experiencesrecruitment, training, and implementation of policies and procedures for new dive centers. Once operational, the
  role will oversee Senior Managers responsible for day-to-day site operations, ensuring smooth, safe, commercially
  effective, and guest-focused delivery of all Galaxea experiences.
• The position directly manages approximately 4–6 Galaxea Senior Managers and reports to the RSSE Operational
  General Manager.
• Develop and implement structured training programs focused on guest engagement, technical excellence,
  safety awareness, emergency response, equipment handling, service consistency, and the Red Sea service
  style.
• Conduct regular operational reviews, safety audits, risk assessments, emergency drills, and quality
  assurance checks across all locations.
• Ensure accurate, up-to-date records are maintained for dive activities, guest participation, training,
  certifications, incidents, equipment maintenance, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous enhancement of the guest journey through innovative, safe, responsible, and memorable
  diving, snorkeling, and marine-based experiences.
• Review guest feedback, identify service improvement opportunities, and ensure corrective actions are
  implemented effectively to consistently elevate the guest experience
• Partner with resort teams to integrate Galaxea experiences into the wider luxury guest offering across The
  Red Sea and AMAALA destinations.

Financial and Commercial Oversight

• Manage and monitor operational budgets across assigned locations, ensuring effective cost control,
  responsible resource utilization, and alignment with business objectives.
• Track activity revenue, profitability, equipment utilization, staffing efficiency, and other operational
  performance indicators.
• Prepare and present KPI updates relating to guest satisfaction, safety performance, team capability, revenue,
  utilization, operational readiness, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management and Collaboration

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with resort General Managers, marine operations, HR,
  procurement, marketing, logistics, sustainability, SEZ, and other internal stakeholders.
• Act as a key operational point of contact for relevant external authorities and industry bodies, including
  Coast Guard representatives, diving federations, regulatory bodies, suppliers, and service providers where
  required.
• Participate in cross-functional planning, strategic discussions, operational reviews, and destination
  readiness initiatives, ensuring stakeholders are informed, aligned, and working together effectively.

Crisis, Incident, and Emergency Management

• Lead and coordinate emergency response activities for diving, marine, weather-related, guest safety, and
  operational incidents.
• Ensure teams are trained, prepared, and confident in emergency procedures, escalation protocols, rescue
  practices, and incident reporting requirements.
• Conduct post-incident reviews, identify lessons learned, and implement corrective and preventive actions to
  strengthen safety, quality, and operational resilience.

Media and Destination Support

• Support destination development, marketing, or media activities by assisting with the coordination of photo
  and video footage when requested by senior management.
• Ensure any media support is delivered safely, professionally, and without compromising core operational
  responsibilities, guest experience, or environmental standards

Safety, Quality, and Environment

• Apply and champion safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to
  ensure employee and guest safety, legislative compliance, high-quality service delivery, and responsible
  environmental practices.
• Ensure all diving, snorkeling, marine, and guest-facing activities protect the marine environment and reflect
  Galaxea’s commitment to responsible underwater tourism and environmental stewardship.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marine science, Environmental Studies, Tourism, Hospitality
  Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred
• PADI Instructor certification, or equivalent internationally recognized diving professional
  qualification, is required.
• Minimum of 500 logged dives and proven experience certifying students across core
  diving courses.
• Demonstrated experience managing dive centers, dive operations, marine tourism
  activities, luxury resort operations, or comparable destination-based guest experiences.
• Strong background in diving health and safety, emergency response, risk management,
  equipment management, and operational compliance.
• Experience operating in diverse geographic locations and multicultural, luxury
  hospitality, marine, or resort environments.
• Experience leading teams to deliver exceptional guest service, premium hospitality
  standards, and safe adventure or marine-based experiences.
• Knowledge of dive retail, equipment maintenance coordination, marine conservation,
  and responsible underwater tourism practices is preferred.
• Valid Fit to Dive medical clearance is required.
• Underwater photography and videography capability is advantageous

Skills:

• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong communication, presentation, and public speaking capability.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, develop, and hold teams accountable across multiple locations while role modelling RSSE values.
• Strong guest experience mindset with the ability to deliver premium, memorable, safe, and personalized service to high-end clientele.
• Sound working knowledge of dive guiding, dive center administration, activity planning, equipment standards, maintenance coordination, and manufacturer requirements.
• Strong safety orientation with the ability to establish, test, and continuously improve safety standards for guests and employees
• Ability to manage guest requests, complaints, incidents, operational challenges, and escalations with professionalism and discretion.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of delivering high-quality work within agreed deadlines.
• Flexible, open-minded, and culturally aware, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, guests, partners, and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, exercising sound judgment, confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion at all times.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of preparing reports, operational plans, schedules, records, and performance updates.
• Interest in marine science, conservation, research, education, and responsible underwater tourism.
• Ability to train staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences, meaningful briefings and debriefs, and consistent Red Sea service style standards.
• Additional spoken languages are advantageous, particularly Arabic.
• Experience supporting social media, guest content, promotional footage, or destination
  storytelling is desirable.
• Marine life identification capability, including fish, invertebrates, reptiles, and marine
  mammals.
• Workshop technician capability or familiarity with servicing multiple dive equipment
  brands is desirable
