Servers & Storage Support – Mainframe / Containerization Specialist
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Experience
3–5 years of experience in mainframe operations, containerization platforms, and DevOps practices
Monthly Salary Package
20,000 – 22,000 SAR
Qualifications & Skills
- Hands‑on experience with mainframe systems and enterprise containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar)
- Knowledge of containerized application architecture, orchestration, and performance optimization
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
- Skilled in monitoring container health, performance metrics, and logging
- Strong understanding of security best practices for containerized environments, including image, network, and access control
- Ability to troubleshoot issues across containers, networking, storage, and orchestration
- Proficiency in scripting and automation for container management and scaling (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible)
- Experience in performing security assessments and audits to remediate vulnerabilities
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and knowledge‑sharing skills
- Strong collaboration skills to work with developers, operations teams, and IT stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Assist in deploying and configuring containerization platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Ensure containerized applications are deployed securely and follow best practices for performance
- Provide technical support to users, developers, and operations teams for containerized and mainframe environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to containerized applications, networking, and storage
- Monitor containerized environments to optimize resource utilization and identify bottlenecks
- Implement tools for monitoring container health, performance, and logs proactively
- Apply security best practices and conduct assessments for containerized environments
- Develop automation scripts and tools for container management, deployment, and scalingli>
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate containerized application lifecycle
- Maintain documentation, guides, and knowledge base articles on best practices and operational procedures
