About The Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah Riyadh within the Commercial Department in Riyadh, the Assistant Director of Sales – Government is responsible for building the annual sales plan and associated activities to execute with the Sales Team in order to achieve sales targets and company goals. The role leads and manages all day‑to‑day activities related to the sales function with a focus on building long‑term, value‑based customer relationships that enable the achievement of property sales targets. The Assistant Director of Sales – Government reports to the Director of Commerce.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Director of Commercial Strategy/Director of Commerce to ensure understanding and alignment of government segment sales strategy and effective implementation of the strategy.
• Ensure that all calls and sales leads are answered in a timely manner and as per company standards.
• Support customer loyalty and the property’s brand standards by delivering service excellence.
• Work proactively with all Regional Sales Offices.
• Keep up to date with market trends and utilize all Business Intelligence reports available.

Achieve financial targets and monitor progress of the team’s sales objectives through supervision and guidance to ensure the team also achieves financial targets in all revenue streams.

• Ensure the team understands and achieves all KPIs related to the department.
• Attend trade shows and fairs and ensure coverage in all key feeder markets.
