Store Clerk Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Store Clerk to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Support monthly stock takes;
- Complete administrative duties in relation to the purchasing system;
- Execute on tasks/requests as instructed by the Finance Manager and/or General Manager;
- Deliver stock to correct outlets;
- Maintain the cleanliness of all stores and delivery areas;
- Communicate with all Heads of Departments regarding stock shortages and unavailable items;
- maintain the security of stores and follow the correct key procedures;
- Ensure requisitions are placed for all stock leaving stores;
- Ensure stock and purchasing records are always current;
- Ensure that delivered items are correct and in high-quality condition;
- Conduct regular temperature checks on goods on a daily basis;
- Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures particularly relating to food and beverage items;
- Report any maintenance and, or, hazard issues to the supervisor on duty;
- Forward, on a daily basis, requisitions and transfers to purchasing.
Requirements:
- A high school qualification or equivalent;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Hardworking and with friendly personality;
- At least Senior High School Gradute;
- Must be computer litrerate;
- Must have good push selling skills;
- 2 year course graduate or College undergrad;
- Relatively fit;
- At least 1-2 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position;
- Must be computer literate and good knowledge of MS Offie program (Word and Excel);
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team;
