2nd Line Support Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Get involved with senior engineers to deliver complex projects;
- Troubleshoot and fix IT hardware including PC’s, laptops, printers, servers;
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and fix most Microsoft technologies as well as other third-party systems;
- Possibility to travel abroad and work between offices for short periods.
Requirements:
- Proven customer service and communication skills;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or MCSE / MCP / CCNA certification or qualifications are desirable;
- Logical approach to problem solving;
- A minimum of 2-years 2 nd Line hands on experience in an IT Desktop / Server support role;
- Excellent inter-personal skills with good time management.
