Job Description

Conduct sustainability assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability practices into business operations and decision-making processes.
Stay informed about current environmental regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
Monitor and report on key sustainability metrics and goals to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on sustainability practices and foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
Coordinate and participate in sustainability-related projects, such as energy and waste reduction initiatives.
Collaborate with external partners, such as suppliers and government agencies, to promote sustainability throughout the supply chain.
Shall lead, coordinate, and facilitate the Integrated Development Process and associated submittal deliveries.
Be responsible for ensuring the Designer/Contractor has sufficient resources of suitable qualification and experience to implement the Regenerative Development requirements set out in this document.
Be responsible to coordinate and lead the preparation of all Regenerative Development studies and models required for the Design.
Be responsible for implementation and compliance with the Regenerative Development Management System, including the submission to the Employer for all approval and compliance documentation.
Shall receive feedback on the Design and Construction from the Employer and instruct the Design and Construction Team with all necessary actions to comply with the Employer’s feedback.
Undertaking Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology (BREEAM) and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) assessments
Completing sustainability plans
Advising on the latest low or zero-carbon technologies
Organizing and chairing meetings
Communicating plans to project teams and senior staff.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification

Qualification in sustainable design and sustainable development; and or Architectural Engineering with a Sustainability specialty and LEED AP (BD+C)

Desired Professional / Exposure or Experience

5-10 years relevant work history in the design and construction industry in the middle east region / Experience in the sustainable design projects

COMPETENCIES

Math's knowledge, Analytical and thinking skills, Knowledge of geography, Excellent verbal communication skills, good attention to detail, Excellent written communication skills and Ambition and a desire to succeed.
