Job Description

We are presently seeking Lead Cost Managers/ Senior Cost Managers with proven local delivery experience to join our team based in Saudi Arabia based team. The position will be located in Tabuk, a remote area, and attractive benefits will be provided.

The ideal applicant will have a strong background in Quantity Surveying, particularly focused on pre contract works, ideally gained through the delivery of complex infrastructure / real estate projects. Experience within a professional consultancy is preferred, although individuals with background in other areas, such as working for main contractors, are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Collaborate and develop good relationships with clients and stakeholders internally and externally
Responsible for pre - contract quantity surveying duties
Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan
Tendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents
Negotiating and agreeing final accounts
Where appropriate, leading a cost management team, ensuring that they deliver on all of the above accountabilities
Supporting developing and securing new business opportunities as required.

Qualifications

A recognised degree qualification in Quantity Surveying (or similar).
MRICS accreditation or similar (preferred).
Relevant work experience, ideally in a consultancy environment.
Good leadership and interpersonal skills, able to work independently and where appropriate lead a team
Experience of leading and successfully delivering cost management commissions in the Middle Eastmarket
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Highly motivated and driven with a passion for your profession and the difference it can make to your clients.
