 The Role

As the Senior Category Manager for Wholesale & Asset Auctions, you will pioneer and scale the digital auction vertical across the Saudi Arabia market. You will leverage your deep subject-matter expertise and existing regional network—spanning public sector auction committees, judicial asset sales platforms, corporate fleet liquidators, and wholesale asset disposal entities—to lead partner acquisition, onboarding, and ongoing seller success. This role requires an entrepreneurial leader who can manage end-to-end marketplace operations, drive continuous category growth, foster community building, and maintain full commercial accountability by owning category KPIs and the P&L.

 The Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary subject-matter expert with deep knowledge of the KSA auction and asset liquidation landscape, including public sector surplus auctions, court-ordered asset sales (e.g., Infath ecosystem), corporate fleet disposals, heavy machinery, and B2B wholesale re-commerce.

• Identify, map out, and execute partner acquisition and onboarding for key auction houses, government contractors, corporate liquidators, vehicle salvage networks, and commercial wholesale operators across Saudi Arabia.

• Fuel seller success by coaching traditional Saudi auctioneers and institutional sellers on bringing live public bidding experiences onto livestream channels, structuring bid increments, live product walkthroughs, and high-engagement host pacing.

• Manage day-to-day marketplace operations and serve as a trusted partner for your seller portfolio, working hand-in-hand with internal product, legal, and compliance teams to ensure seamless auction workflows and buyer trust.

• Oversee category growth and community building initiatives by orchestrating featured live auction events, institutional liquidation streams, vehicle/equipment bidding shows, and targeted campaign drives for professional bidders and retail bargain hunters.

• Maintain active community and industry presence , attending major industrial auctions, trade shows, and public asset bidding events across the Kingdom.

• Take complete business ownership of the vertical by measuring performance, owning category KPIs and the P&L, and iterating on operational strategies.

  The Skills & Competencies

• Full professional fluency in Arabic and English is required.

• 3+ years of experience in commercial auctions, government asset disposal, corporate liquidation, or B2B re-commerce in Saudi Arabia.

• Comprehensive industry literacy , understanding Saudi auction regulations, valuation procedures, public bidding frameworks, and key institutional stakeholders in KSA.

• Established, warm relationships with local auction houses, asset liquidation committees, corporate logistics/fleet operators, or wholesale distributors in Saudi Arabia.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage institutional procurement processes and complex multi-stakeholder deals.
