Freelance Social Media Manager

We are a company specialising in talent and HR solutions for the arts, culture and creative industries , and we are looking for a Freelance Social Media Manager to strengthen its international digital presence, with a particular focus on the GCC region .

We are looking for a creative, independent and organised professional with a strong visual eye and a genuine interest in arts and culture , capable of transforming our projects, job opportunities, industry insights and activities into engaging and relevant content for our community.

The collaboration will focus primarily on Instagram , supporting both Artepreneur’s international positioning and the growth of a relevant community across our strategic markets. We are looking for someone who understands social media not only as a tool for growing followers, but also for building visibility, engagement, brand positioning and business opportunities .

Responsibilities:

• Create original content for Instagram, including reels, stories, carousels, posts and other relevant formats.

• Edit photography and video and design visual assets for social media.

• Plan, manage and publish the monthly content calendar.

• Develop content related to arts & culture, talent, employment, professional development and the creative industries.

• Adapt content for an international audience, with particular attention to the GCC region .

• Research relevant trends, news, institutions, events and conversations within the international arts and cultural ecosystem.

• Develop and maintain a consistent visual direction aligned with Artepreneur’s identity and positioning.

• Develop initiatives to increase followers, reach, engagement and community growth, particularly within strategic markets.

• Identify potential collaborations and cross-promotion opportunities with relevant professionals, institutions and cultural organisations.

• Analyse performance and key metrics and propose improvements to optimise content.

• Collaborate with the Artepreneur team to identify projects, recruitment searches, research, events and stories that can be transformed into engaging content.

Requirements:

• Excellent written and spoken English. Arabic would be an advantage.

• Background in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Marketing, Communications, Design or a related field.

• Demonstrable experience in content creation and management of professional social media accounts, particularly Instagram.

• Strong interest in arts, culture and the creative industries.

• Proficiency with graphic design, photography and video editing tools.

• Ability to interpret social media metrics and use data to improve content performance.

• Knowledge of or a strong interest in the GCC cultural landscape would be highly valued.

• Creative, proactive, organised and autonomous, with the ability to propose new ideas and formats.

• Location: Remote, ideally in the GCC territory.

• Flexible workload, organised according to the agreed content calendar and objectives.

• Start date: September 2026.

• Ongoing collaboration, with the possibility of expanding responsibilities as the project develops.

• Freelance fee: To be agreed according to experience, availability and scope of collaboration.
