The Role & Key Responsibilities

Every successful project begins with a clear vision and strategic execution. We are seeking a decisive, visionary General Manager (GM) of Project Management based in KSA to take complex industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects from conception to delivery. In this executive role, you will be responsible for defining corporate policies, streamlining processes, and cutting through operational bureaucracy to optimize performance across Saudi Arabia and the GCC. Your day-to-day responsibilities include driving financial control over multi-million-SAR budgets, forecasting resource needs, and making high-stakes, agile decisions under tight deadlines. As a central leader, you will maintain deep customer centricity, manage complex stakeholder relations, and actively coach and inspire a multidisciplinary, cross-cultural team to exceed strategic organizational objectives.

Candidate Requirements

To qualify for this executive position, candidates must be Saudi nationals holding a Master’s Degree specifically paired with an Engineering discipline (such as an MSc in Engineering, or an MBA/Master’s in Business/Economics with a strong background in Engineering). You must bring 15 to 20+ years of senior-level industry experience , demonstrating a proven track record of directing large-scale, high-value projects and managing multi-million-SAR budgets.

• Budgetary Oversight: Proactively review multi-million-SAR budgets, forecast financial requirements, and plan ahead to prevent cost overruns. Implement immediate corrective measures when necessary.
• Decisive Action: Act as the central decision-maker capable of making critical, high-stakes choices on short notice to keep projects moving forward seamlessly.
• Transparent Communication: Clearly articulate tasks, expectations, and company objectives across all levels of the organization. Master the delivery of constructive feedback to encourage continuous professional growth.
• Customer Centricity: Keep clients actively involved and informed to avoid unwanted surprises. Minimize project uncertainties and ensure overall customer satisfaction.
• Reliability & Support: Maintain an accessible, level-headed, and professional demeanor, ensuring team members, partners, and stakeholders feel secure and supported at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• Nationality: Must be a Saudi National .
• Educational Background: Master’s Degree required (MBA, MSc in Engineering, or Master of Economics/Business Management).
• Extensive Experience: Substantial senior-level industry experience (15–20+ years ), with a proven track record of directing large-scale, high-value projects.
• Regional Expertise: Deep understanding of the Saudi Arabian and GCC market dynamics, including local regulations, Vision 2030 alignments, supply chain nuances, and regional business culture.
• Track Record: Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million-SAR/AED budgets and successfully deliver complex industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.

• Executive Leadership: Strong executive presence with a proactive nature and an ability to navigate diverse, complex business functions.
• Cross-Cultural Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills tailored to managing within the diverse, multicultural landscape of the GCC.
• Analytical & Strategic Thinking: High-level strategic thinker with strong data analysis capabilities and a meticulous attention to detail.
