Job Summary
The Project Director (Central Cluster) is responsible for providing strategic leadership and end-to-end delivery of multiple large-scale projects within the Central Cluster. The role ensures projects are executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and governance standards, while aligning outcomes with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects across the Central Cluster
- Define project strategy, governance framework, and delivery roadmap
- Ensure adherence to scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Manage senior stakeholders, clients, consultants, contractors, and internal leadership
- Provide leadership to project teams; ensure capability building and performance management
- Identify and mitigate project risks; resolve critical issues and escalations
- Monitor financial performance including budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, contractual obligations, and statutory norms
- Drive continuous improvement, best practices, and value engineering initiatives
- Report project performance and strategic insights to executive management
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
- Master’s degree / MBA / PMP or equivalent certification preferred
- Proven experience managing large, complex, multi-project portfolios
- Strong knowledge of project governance, contracts, and commercial management
- Demonstrated leadership in stakeholder and team management
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
