Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and hands-on Head Bakery Chef to lead our bakery production and oversee all aspects of daily baking operations. In this role, you will manage kitchen staff, develop innovative artisan bread and pastry recipes, maintain rigorous quality control, and ensure the highest standards of culinary excellence and kitchen hygiene.
Note: Applicants must currently reside within Saudi Arabia, possess valid residency status with no Huroob (absenteeism report), and be fully willing to relocate to different cities across the Kingdom as per business requirements. This position is exclusively open to Filipino nationals.
Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise the bakery team, scheduling shifts, delegating daily production tasks, and providing hands-on training to ensure consistent output.
Recipe Development & Production: Oversee the preparation and baking of a wide range of artisan breads, viennoiserie, rolls, and specialty baked goods from scratch, introducing new and seasonal product lines.
Quality & Consistency Control: Monitor ingredient quality, dough proofing, baking temperatures, and final product presentation to meet premium luxury retail standards.
Inventory & Cost Management: Control food and labor costs, manage waste reduction, track raw material stock levels, and coordinate ingredient ordering with suppliers and management.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all baking machinery (ovens, dough mixers, proofers, sheeters) is operated safely, cleaned regularly, and maintained in optimal working order.
Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to local food safety, sanitation, and health regulations across all bakery operations.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Proven leadership experience working as a Head Baker, Head Bakery Chef, or Executive Pastry/Bakery Chef in a high-volume, premium bakery, luxury hotel, or commercial central kitchen.
Geographic & Legal Requirement: Must currently be located inside Saudi Arabia with valid residency status (Iqama) and absolutely NO Huroob status (must be eligible for transfer).
Mobility: Must be fully willing to be relocated to different cities within Saudi Arabia based on company operational needs.
Nationality Restriction: Open exclusively to Filipino nationals.
Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of baking science, sourdough fermentation, dough handling, and large-scale industrial baking equipment.
Leadership & Organizational Skills: Strong communication abilities, team management experience, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
