Pastry and Cake Artist

Position Summary

We are seeking a talented, creative, and skilled Pastry and Cake Artist to design, bake, and decorate high-quality pastries, artisanal desserts, and custom celebration cakes. In this role, you will bring culinary artistry and precision to our kitchen, crafting visually stunning and delicious sweet treats that meet luxury retail standards.

Note: Applicants must currently reside within Saudi Arabia, possess valid residency status with no Huroob (absenteeism report), and be fully willing to relocate to different cities across the Kingdom as per business requirements. Applications are exclusively open to candidates of Indian, Filipino, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, and Nepalese nationalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Cake Decoration & Custom Design: Sculpt, frost, and decorate custom cakes (wedding, birthday, and special events) using buttercream, fondant, sugar flowers, modeling chocolate, and advanced piping techniques.

• Pastry & Dessert Production: Prepare a wide variety of baked goods, including pastries, tarts, macarons, mousses, and plated desserts following precise recipes and quality standards.

• Artistic Innovation: Develop new seasonal flavors, contemporary cake designs, and innovative pastry displays to attract customers and enhance the menu.

• Quality & Freshness Control: Inspect raw ingredients, monitor baking temperatures, and ensure all finished baked items maintain optimal taste, texture, and visual presentation.

• Kitchen Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation, strictly adhering to local food safety and health regulations.

• Inventory Management: Track baking supplies, raw ingredients, and decorating tools, communicating stock requirements to the head chef or manager.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven hands-on professional experience working as a Pastry Chef, Cake Decorator, or Baker in a reputable bakery, luxury hotel, or custom cake studio.

• Geographic & Legal Requirement: Must currently be located inside Saudi Arabia with valid residency status (Iqama) and absolutely NO Huroob status (must be eligible for transfer).

• Mobility: Must be fully willing to be relocated to different cities within Saudi Arabia based on company operational needs.

• Nationality Restriction: Open only to Indian, Filipino, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, and Nepalese nationals.

• Artistic Skillset: Exceptional artistic flair with advanced cake decorating skills (fondant work, sugar craft, intricate piping, and airbrushing).

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of baking science, dough preparation, cream whipping, and temperature control.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long hours, work in warm kitchen environments, and lift heavy bags of ingredients (e.g., flour and sugar).
