Security Systems Division Head

We're looking for a driven, technically fluent Project Manager to lead the sales of our integrated physical security solutions — including access control (card readers, door controllers, biometric scanners, badge/credential systems), CCTV integration, and alarm/intrusion panels. You'll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and needs assessment through proposal, quoting, and close, working closely with our design and installation teams to deliver solutions that fit each client's security and compliance needs.
This is a great fit for someone who understands both the commercial and technical sides of security systems and enjoys building long-term relationships with facility managers, security directors, general contractors, and consultants.
What You'll Do
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across commercial, industrial, government, and institutional clients in need of access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems
- Conduct client site walks and needs assessments to scope appropriate solutions (card readers, door controllers, biometric scanners, badge/credential systems, CCTV integration, alarm panels)
- Build and present proposals, system quotes, and ROI/value cases tailored to client requirements and budgets
- Partner with engineering, design, and installation teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound and deliverable
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts, identifying upsell and system expansion opportunities (additional readers, cameras, credentials, panel upgrades)
- Stay current on product lines and platforms (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, Software House, HID, Honeywell, Bosch, Hikvision, Dahua) and emerging trends in access control and video/alarm integration
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and with channel partners/consultants
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing in coordination with management
- Ensure smooth handoff from sale to project execution, staying involved through installation and commissioning as needed
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in physical security, low-voltage systems, access control, CCTV, or a related B2B technical sales environment
- Working knowledge of access control components (card readers, controllers, credentials/badges, biometric scanners), video surveillance integration, and alarm/intrusion systems
- Familiarity with major platforms and manufacturers (Lenel, Genetec, Software House, HID, or similar) is a strong plus
- Comfortable reading basic system diagrams/floor plans and translating technical requirements into client-facing proposals
- Strong consultative selling skills — able to understand client pain points (security, compliance, operations) and map them to the right solution
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally/regionally for client visits and site assessments
