Job Description
- Manage the daily operations of the reservations department.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate reservation agents to ensure high service standards.
- Monitor room inventory, availability, and booking patterns to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Ensure all reservations are processed accurately and efficiently through the property management system.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.
- Review room allocations, group bookings, VIP reservations, and special requests.
- Monitor reservation channels, including direct bookings, online travel agencies (OTAs), and corporate accounts.
- Analyze reservation trends, booking pace, cancellations, and no-show reports.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation and occupancy reports.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, rate plans, and booking procedures.
- Handle escalated guest inquiries, complaints, and reservation-related issues professionally.
- Support revenue optimization by implementing approved pricing strategies and promotional offers.
- Maintain accurate reservation records and guest profiles.
- Identify opportunities to improve reservation processes, efficiency, and guest experience.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of hotel reservation procedures and revenue management principles.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software (e.g., Opera PMS or similar systems).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines
