Weare seeking a Sales Engineer to drive the sales of AnsysSimulation Software in Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East region,focusing on Energy, Research Institutions, and Startups. The ideal candidatewill have 2-5 years of experience of B2B Sales in a similar market and a proventrack record in selling simulation software from Ansys or its competitors (suchas Siemens, Dassault Systems, Altair, or COMSOL).
Key Responsibilities:
- Target key commercial sectors such as Energy& relating Manufacturing, Construction, and EPC to drive revenue growth.
- Identifyand support startup incubators and innovation hubs, positioning Ansys as a keysimulation tool for product development and R&D.
- Workclosely with technical and pre-sales teams to showcase software capabilitiesand provide training where necessary.
- Managethe entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to closing dealsand account management.
- Monitorgovernment and institutional funding programs related to research andeducation, leveraging opportunities for Ansys adoption.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipelinemanagement using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Key Requirements:
- 2-5 years of sales experience in the Energy,Research, and Startup ecosystem in region of interest.
- Prior experience in selling engineeringsimulation software (Ansys, Siemens, Dassault Systems, Altair, COMSOL, etc.).
- Understanding of simulation applications inresearch fields, including computational fluid dynamics (CFD), structuralanalysis (FEA), electromagnetics, and multi-physics modeling.
- Proven ability to build relationships withuniversities, research institutions, and startup founders.
- Experience working with academic licensingmodels and research funding programs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills inEnglish (Arabic is a plus), with the ability to engage both technical andnon-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia andthe Middle East as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineering or Science degree in Mechanical,Electrical, Electronics Aerospace, or related fields.
- Experience in university-industry collaborationprojects.
- Familiarity with regional government initiativessupporting research and innovation.
- Strong network within the academic and startupcommunity in the Middle East.
