Project Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team in the Oil and Gas industry. The successful candidate will be based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and will play a key role in managing and executing engineering projects within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of engineering projects, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that project requirements are met and that all engineering standards and codes are adhered to
• Provide technical guidance and support to project team members and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the project lifecycle
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and identify any potential risks or obstacles
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, and address any concerns or challenges proactively
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle

Key requirements

• At least a 4 year degree in an engineering discipline
• Proven experience in project management within the Oil and Gas industry, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure
• Familiarity with project management tools and software, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong commitment to quality and safety
