Service Engineer

Introduction: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our Customer Service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of maritime equipment, ensuring reliable and efficient operation at customer sites. The role involves working with a wide range of maritime cranes and equipment, while providing professional technical support and maintaining high standards of safety and service quality.
This position is open to Saudi nationals only.

Responsibilities

1. • Diagnose, repair, overhaul, and adjust maritime equipment such as: Harbour Mobile Cranes, Ship Cranes, Offshore Cranes, Ship to Shore, Rubber Tyre Gantry, Rail Mounted Gantry
   • Assembly and commissioning of new machines
   • Apply/ install factory issued updates and modifications
   • Repair or replace damaged or worn parts
   • Operate machine for testing, inspection and troubleshooting
   • Write a timely and detailed report after each attendance
   • Comply to applicable safety standards
   • Represent LIEBHERR and its core values

Competencies

1. • Successful completion of a technical apprenticeship as a mechanical/electronic/mechatronic technician or higher technical education
   • Advanced knowledge in electrical and hydraulic systems
   • Highly proficient in spoken and written English. Arabic is a plus.
   • Organize, manage, and complete projects individually or as part of teamwork.
   • Cooperate with all levels of staff
   • Ability to multitask while completing work in a competent and professional manner
   • Willing to travel within Saudi Arabia
   • Willing to work overtime as well as on weekends or on call duty
   • Basic knowledge of MS Office
   • Team Player
