Our company is looking for a senior manager public relations to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to sensitive issue inquiries as needed;
  • Accept additional duties and responsibilities as directed;
  • Work with departments to identify ways to use messaging to increase and retain membership;
  • Prepare and provide talking points to appropriate staff and volunteers for interviews across all media formats;
  • Assist in the production of a magazine/newsletter;
  • Develop and review content for print, electronic and social media to communicate information to members, volunteers, and parents;
  • Support marketing and public relations efforts through research and analysis;
  • Develop, plan, and implement lectures and other fundraising events;
  • Manage and mentor volunteers and update their training materials;
  • Create official press kit and build media contact database, thereby raising the society’s visibility within the community;
  • Generate news releases and communicate to media vendors.

Requirements:

  • Team player with excellent communication skills;
  • Strong media contacts and public speaking skills;
  • Experienced in writing and distributing press releases and organizing press conferences;
  • Fluent in English & Arabic;
  • Bachelors in Communications/Public Relations. 3+ years of accomplished communications experience within a nonprofit entity is a plus.
