Associate Director, Compliance & Ethics Lead LR MEA

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Associate Director to lead Compliance & Ethics operations across Middle East and Africa local representative markets. The role involves developing and executing compliance programs, assessing risks, and partnering with business stakeholders to maintain a strong integrity culture and ensure regulatory adherence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual Compliance & Ethics work plan for LR MEA aligned with business strategies
- Serve as day-to-day Compliance & Ethics business partner, providing risk-based guidance on operations
- Identify, assess, and escalate potential compliance risks with recommended mitigation measures
- Drive local implementation of global BMS Compliance & Ethics programs, systems, and controls
- Support LRM Compliance Committee governance, monitoring, and escalation of compliance risks
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent professional experience; compliance, law, accounting, audit, or related certification preferred
- 10+ years professional experience in Compliance & Ethics within highly regulated industries
- Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or similar regulated industry background
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and compliance risks for supported markets
- Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and provide risk-based guidance on compliance matters
- Strong stakeholder relationship-building and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fluency in Arabic and English as applicable to the role
