Housekeeping Supervisor

Our UHNW client, who is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping team during shifts, particularly in the absence of the Assistant Housekeeping Manager. This role requires working independently, ensuring all cleaning procedures and company standards are consistently followed, and maintaining a high level of service and cleanliness throughout the property.

In addition to supporting daily operations, the Supervisor leads by example, promoting a culture of excellence, organisation, and accountability. They ensure that guest areas are maintained to the highest standards, and take initiative to resolve issues promptly, contributing to a smooth and efficient housekeeping operation.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Make sure that the staff leave form is completed for staff under you, and approved.
• Share the daily tasks with Housekeeping Attendants during the meeting.
• Ensure all areas are done.
• Make sure all flowers are looking fresh (replace some if needed).
• Supervisor is in charge of all guest laundry needs. Taking it to laundry and bringing it back. Make sure it is logged in a logbook with damage, and differences in colour, and point it out to the guests' Private Butlers and main laundry if acknowledged by Butlers. Butlers are to sign the acknowledgment of the damage and colour difference.
• Ensuring that all Housekeeping equipment is clean.
• Ensuring that Housekeeping Attendants are using the colour coded rags and the right equipment.
• Inspections of all areas.
• Training of all new staff.
• Taking stock of lockers and re-stock of lockers.
• Supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring all tasks undertaken are completed efficiently and to a high standard, giving appropriate direction where necessary.
• Required to stand in as Housekeeping Supervisor in his/her absence and confidently lead and motivate the team, working independently and in close co-operation with others.
• Administrative duties; use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and for data entry and records/system maintenance.
• Prepare daily reports and feedback to Executive Housekeeping Manager.
• Be able to adapt, be flexible to a variety of situations, and remain effective to meet changing demands.
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed including safety regarding manual handling and chemical use.
• To be cost-conscious with the use of cleaning materials, linen, towel, and other consumables.
• To ensure that property is maintained properly, and treated with respect at all times.
• Actively participate in continuous individual training and upskilling of the team, provided by the company.
• Assist the management and other personnel in such other matters as may be reasonably required.
• Attend and participate in daily briefings, meetings, and training sessions as scheduled.

Education requirements : Bachelor, Diploma, High School | Minimum 2-4 years of experience on the same or similar role
Salary : 9,800 SAR – 14,000 SAR
Working days : 6 days a week
Annual Leave : 30 Days of Vacation/Annum
